The IC 210 calorimeter uses a pressure-resistant decomposition vessel to measure the energy value of samples. The sample is burned in a controlled pure oxygen environment, and the energy released during combustion is measured via temperature sensors. The operator fills the vessel with oxygen using a charger and removes the oxygen after combustion through the exhaust. This process is managed under the operator’s control, ensuring that measurements are safe, repeatable, and accurate.
