How automatic calorimeter works?

Fully automatic calorimeters are advanced laboratory instruments designed to measure the energy (heat) value of various types of samples with high accuracy. The measurement process is based on the principle of burning the sample in a pressure-resistant decomposition vessel under a controlled pure oxygen atmosphere. During combustion, the released heat increases the temperature of the water surrounding the decomposition vessel, and the device monitors this temperature change to automatically calculate the sample’s energy value. The entire process is managed by a fully automatic system without the need for operator intervention; the device performs oxygen filling and exhaust discharge, lid opening and closing, water filling and draining, and ignition steps entirely under its own control. This advanced automation makes the measurement process standardized, safe, and repeatable, minimizing operator workload and enhancing laboratory efficiency. Fully automatic calorimeters provide high accuracy, reliability, and efficiency in energy analysis, elevating laboratory processes to a higher level.
